Work on our mosaic garden mural continues to grow....
Although we do not have anything firmly attached to our wall at this stage, each Tuesday afternoon Miriam Ross and the students of our school continue to weave their magic, making our garden grow to life. All of our student mural designs started as creative ideas on paper, and have been brought to life by Miriam and the students. Sketches have been increased in size, transferred onto all weather plasterboard and filled with small brightly coloured mosaic tiles. They are the most beautiful mosaic pieces ever.
So far we have created a butterfly, dinosaur, toucan and a liger (a cross between a lion and tiger). We are currently working on a frog, a caterpillar, a ladybird and some flowers. Watch this space and watch our garden grow.......
A huge thank you to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundations Art Express Program for kindly sponsoring this project.
