Sydney Childrens Hospital School is committed to providing the continuity of quality education for students through strong partnerships with students, parents and census schools, and leading excellence in future focused teaching, personalised learning and strong coordinated health and education transition planning. Our purpose is to ensure an equitable education service that aims to eliminate gaps in education and well-being, engage students in meaningful learning and lead the educational adjustments needed to facilitate and interpret student health status and treatment plans. Staff work as proactive members of multidisciplinary teams, whilst striving to support our students to have the same educational opportunities as their healthy peers, by expertly scaffolding student complexity and leading innovative and evidence-based solutions to census schools.

Public Education Week - 4-8 August 2025

Education Week is 'Ignite Your Potential’. At the SCHS, we will welcome guests including SCH Clown Doctors, Dr Toot and Dr Splash, Australian Olympian, Emma Jeffcoat (Triathlon – Tokyo 2020), Author, Rawah Arja and 7News Sports Presenter, Mel McLaughin to share experiences on reaching their potential. We look forward to hearing from our special guests.

Premier's Reading Challenge

Delta Therapy Dog Program

We have a School Therapy Dog, Honey who visits our school each week with her owner, Michelle. Honey is part of the Delta Dogs Therapy Program and is a valuable addition to our school team. Honey will assist with educational support and provide affection and comfort to our students and staff.
