Last term, Sydney Children’s Hospital School (SCHS) celebrated NAIDOC Week which is the time we celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is celebrated by all Australians and is a great opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. On Wednesday 23rd June, SCHS were lucky enough to have the amazing artist Lewis Hennessy who taught us how to create wonderful artwork dot paintings. We all had a fabulous day and enjoyed working altogether.
